Composition Techniques

Composition Techniques are the shot types you use in film and photography. The main four composition techniques are framing, rule of thirds, unusual angles, and leading lines. You may wonder what these shot types are so I will explain them to you. Framing is when your subject, person or thing, is arranged to have the natural surroundings frame it. Rule of thirds is a shot type where your subject is not in the middle, but to the side and looking off into the opposite direction. Unusual angles is taking a shot in a way your eyes wouldn't normally see things. Last, leading lines is when you use natural surrounding lines to lead up to your subject.

These Composition Techniques are the basic shot types. They are the shot types in which people use the most often. They grab peoples attention. They may be used for the simplest reason, but they will always work well together or by themselves. Using these shot types correctly you can use them for anything.
