Metamorphosis Animation

Our most recent project that we did was a animation project. We were challenged to make a video using three different types of animation to create a video that showed a change occurring. For this my teammates and I, Karlie and Maya, chose to do ours about an insecure dragon, "Dragon Transforms Self". Our animation followed the story of a dragon named Marco who constantly bullied for looking different. So, Marco felt that in order to be accepted and to be happy he needed to change who he was. Using claymation, we were able to show Marco transforming himself into different objects and animals. In the end Marco realized to be happy he just needed to be himself because he was perfect the way he was.

During this project we had our ups and downs. We didn't always agree on the same thing. Each of us had a different idea of what do to and how to do it. Though, in the end we came together and combined our ideas and used them to produce our work. I was in charge of the digital animation, used in the first and last scene, and creating the claymation characters. Karlie and Maya worked the camera for the claymation scenes and put together all the different scenes. Also, Maya was our stop motion actress. When we got all our scenes together we used Garage Band and made a music track together. And that was our latest project, the Metamorphosis Animation.
